Gov Yusuf Sacks Sagagi as Kano State Commissioner

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved Shehu Sagagi of his appointment as Commissioner for Investment, Commerce and Industry with immediate effect.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, who directed the former commissioner to hand over the affairs of the ministry to the Director of Commerce without delay.

The governor expressed appreciation for Sagagi’s services during his tenure, noting his contributions to the development of the state, particularly in the areas of politics, religion, and support for small and medium enterprises.

According to the statement, the decision forms part of an ongoing strategic realignment of government structures aimed at ensuring systematic growth and sustainable development in Kano State.
