Popular Arise News journalist, Rufai Oseni, has denied reports claiming he was suspended from his job, describing the allegations as false and misleading.

The rumours began circulating on social media after a post alleged that the broadcaster had been sanctioned by his employers following a reported altercation with a senior colleague. The unverified claim further suggested that the disagreement escalated during an internal exchange.

However, Oseni quickly responded via his verified account on X, rejecting the report in strong terms and insisting that no disciplinary action had been taken against him.

According to him, he is currently outside the country on official assignment.

“I was not suspended. I am on a working visit to Germany. This is fake news. Kindly report that account,” he wrote, urging the public to disregard the claims and report the source of the misinformation.

He further clarified that he remains fully engaged in his professional duties with Arise News, and has not been subjected to any internal sanctions or suspension.

The broadcaster’s response comes amid growing concerns over the spread of unverified reports on social media, particularly involving high-profile media personalities.

Oseni also called on the public to verify information before sharing, reiterating that he is actively working and currently on an official trip in Germany.

The clarification has since sparked reactions online, with supporters and viewers urging caution against misinformation circulating on digital platforms.
