Chelsea Sack Rosenior After Three-Month Spell as McFarlane Takes Over
Chelsea FC has sacked head coach Liam Rosenior after just three months in charge, following a sharp decline in form.
The decision comes after a run of five consecutive Premier League defeats without scoring, marking one of the club’s worst attacking spells in over a century.
Rosenior, who was appointed in January on a long-term contract, initially showed promise but struggled to maintain consistency as the season progressed.
Calum McFarlane has now been placed in temporary charge of the team until the end of the season, working alongside existing backroom staff.
Chelsea are expected to begin the search for a permanent manager as they aim to salvage their season and secure European qualification.
