President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm birthday wishes to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, commending his contributions to public service and ongoing reforms in the ministry.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined family, friends, and associates in celebrating the minister, describing him as a disciplined and focused public servant.

Tinubu noted that Tunji-Ojo’s tenure has been marked by a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to improving institutional efficiency within the Ministry of Interior. He highlighted the minister’s efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and enhance service delivery across key government operations.

The President also acknowledged ongoing reforms under the ministry, particularly in areas such as immigration services, correctional administration, and border management systems, which he said are vital to national security and development.

According to Tinubu, these initiatives align with the administration’s broader objective of building a secure, orderly, and well-regulated internal environment, while also restoring public confidence in government institutions through transparency and accountability.

He further commended the minister’s loyalty and dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his work continues to support the government’s drive to deliver tangible results for Nigerians.

The President prayed for good health, strength, and continued service for Tunji-Ojo in the years ahead.
