The Presidency has distanced itself from claims surrounding the alleged appointment of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi under an organization known as the “Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council,” describing the body as non-existent and unauthorized.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, said the attention of the Federal Government had been drawn to activities involving an individual identified as Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who has allegedly been presenting himself to the public as an appointee of the Presidency.

Gbajabiamila stated that no such appointment had been made and clarified that the so-called Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council does not exist within the structure of the current administration.

“The unsuspecting public is hereby advised to note that such an office does not exist under this administration and no appointment has been made in that regard,” the statement said.

The Presidency further urged foreign and diplomatic missions, financial institutions, multilateral organizations, development partners, security agencies, and other stakeholders to disregard any claims suggesting official recognition of the alleged council or its activities.

The statement serves as a formal disclaimer and warning against individuals or groups who may seek to misrepresent themselves as acting on behalf of the Federal Government.

Authorities advised members of the public and relevant institutions to verify claims of presidential appointments through official government channels before engaging with any individual or organization purporting to represent the Presidency.
