Tinubu Appears In France In First Public Footage Since Beginning European Leave
President Bola Tinubu has appeared in public in France for the first time since departing Nigeria on August 29 for a three week leave in Europe.
Footage released by the President’s videographer, Sunday Moses, shows Tinubu disembarking from his aircraft after arriving in France and exchanging handshakes with officials who were on hand to receive him.
Among those present was Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, who welcomed the President before Tinubu entered a waiting vehicle.
Tinubu left Nigeria on August 29, with the Presidency announcing that London would be his first destination as he commenced the three week leave.
The footage marks the first publicly released images of the President since his departure from the country and comes amid public interest in his whereabouts during the leave period.
Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of his leave and resume official engagements.
