Umo Eno Appoints Aniefiok Johnson As Chief Of Staff

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has appointed Mr Aniefiok Johnson as the new Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The appointment was announced in a press release dated October 29, 2026, issued by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

Johnson previously served as Executive Assistant and Chief Delivery Adviser to the governor, where he was credited with demonstrating diligence, loyalty and commitment to the administration’s ARISE Agenda.

According to the statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the appointment takes immediate effect.

The governor congratulated Johnson on his new position.
