Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Marries Pastor Mo, Tunde Bakare Blesses Union

Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, has introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation, confirming his remarriage.

The announcement was made during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, where the cleric presented his wife to worshippers amid cheers and congratulations.

Odukoya’s announcement followed a social media post a day earlier in which he shared a photograph of two hands wearing rings, accompanied by the caption, “To New Beginnings”. The post had generated speculation among followers about his marital status.

Addressing the congregation, the pastor said he had spent some time alone since taking over the leadership of the church and had now found a suitable partner. Referring to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, he described his wife as “the flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone” before introducing her as Pastor Mrs Odukoya and the church’s new First Lady.

His wife also addressed the congregation, expressing her pleasure and honour at standing alongside her husband and becoming part of the church community.

Pastor Tunde Bakare, founder of The Citadel Global Community Church, joined the couple at the altar and offered prayers for their marriage. He asked God to strengthen their home, establish it in peace and love, and make their union an example for others.

Bakare also prayed for the growth of the Fountain of Life Church and described the couple’s household as one that should become a centre of Christian service.

The marriage marks a new chapter in Odukoya’s personal life following the end of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Banjoko. The former couple married in London in March 2013 and have two children together.

Odukoya, who is also known for his acting career in Nollywood, became senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church in 2023 following the death of his father, the church’s founder, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

The identity of his new wife has been reported by several media outlets as Mo Jasyme or Mo Jasmine, while she was introduced to the congregation as Pastor Mo Odukoya.
