Ehi Braimah, Wife Celebrate 30 Years of Marriage, Renew Commitment to Love and Family

Media entrepreneur and Governor Nominee of Rotary International District 9112, Mr Ehi Braimah, and his wife, Oluwakemi, have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary, marking three decades of marriage, companionship and shared commitment.

The couple marked the milestone on Monday, November 2, 2026, with family members, friends, professional associates and members of the Rotary community joining them to celebrate their enduring union.

An anniversary tribute described their 30-year journey as one sustained by love, friendship, commitment and God’s faithfulness.

“Thirty years of love, commitment, friendship and God’s unfailing faithfulness,” the message read.

It also offered prayers for continued good health, peace, strength and abundant blessings, expressing hope that the couple would enjoy many more years of happiness together.

Braimah is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post, as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neo Media and Marketing, a public relations and marketing communications company.

His wife, Oluwakemi, is the Group Executive Director of Naija Times and also plays an active role in the media industry.

Their professional partnership has extended their relationship beyond family life, with both contributing to the growth and operations of their media organisation.

In a 2019 interview with The Punch, Braimah spoke about the importance of balancing his professional responsibilities with family life, explaining that he deliberately created time to be with his wife and family.

“I create time to be with my family,” he said, noting that they sometimes watched films together, went out to eat or travelled.

Beyond his media and business engagements, Braimah has built a notable career in Rotary International, where he has occupied several leadership positions.

In February 2026, he emerged as District Governor Nominee Designate of Rotary International District 9112, positioning him to serve as District Governor during the 2028–2029 Rotary year.

The district comprises more than 86 Rotary clubs and over 2,300 Rotarians across parts of Lagos and Ogun states.

His previous positions include President of the Rotary Club of Lagos from 2018 to 2019, District Secretary between 2021 and 2022, and Assistant Governor from 2022 to 2025.

He also served as Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Africa Zone 22, Region 27, during the 2025–2026 Rotary year.

In the media and marketing communications industry, Braimah founded Neo Media and Marketing in 2008, established Naija Times in 2020 and launched Lagos Post in 2021.

His professional accomplishments include receiving the University of Roehampton’s Distinguished Chancellor’s Alumni Award in the Inspiration and Innovation category in 2024.

He is also a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, as well as a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

Oluwakemi’s contribution to her husband’s personal and professional journey was also acknowledged in a 2023 birthday tribute published by TheCable.

In the tribute, media executive Mumini Alao described her as a “strong pillar of support”, recognising her role in the family.

As the couple celebrate three decades together, their anniversary reflects a shared journey shaped by family, faith, friendship and professional collaboration.
