Hon. Jeffery Omoh Ozemegwa Appointed As Technical Assistant on Intergovernmental Affairs

Hon. Jeffery Omoh Ozemegwa has been appointed as Technical Assistant on Intergovernmental Affairs in the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Climate Technology and Operations, with immediate effect.

The appointment reflects the confidence reposed in his competence, experience, and capacity to support the Office in advancing Nigeria’s climate action priorities, strengthening intergovernmental coordination, and accelerating the implementation of strategic climate technology and sustainability initiatives across the Federation.

In this role, Hon. Jeffery Omoh Ozemegwa will support engagements with Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), State Governments, Local Government Authorities, development partners, private sector institutions, multilateral organisations, and other key stakeholders in furtherance of the climate and green growth agenda of the administration of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Hon. Jeffery Omoh Ozemegwa brings a wealth of experience to the position, and his appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance collaboration between federal, state, and local governments on climate action. The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Climate Technology and Operations expressed full confidence in his ability to deliver on the mandate, adding that his role would be critical in driving the coordinated implementation of climate resilience and green growth policies across the country.
