Plateau Governor Caleb Mutfwang Sacks Six Aides, Suspends Chairman Over Misconduct

Governor Caleb Mutfwang has dismissed six of his appointees and placed one official on suspension as part of a government restructuring to enhance efficiency and service delivery in Plateau State.

The Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau, announced the action on Tuesday in Jos. Those affected include:

Mr Timothy Golu, Special Adviser to the governor on Strategic Communication

Mr Fom Gwottson, Liaison Officer, Jos South

Mr Nanbol Rimvyat, Liaison Officer, Langtang North

Mr Nannim Langyi, Liaison Officer, Langtang North

Mr Paul Datugum, Liaison Officer, Qua’an Pan

Mr Nimchat Rims, Liaison Officer, Langtang South

Additionally, Mr Johnbull Shekarau, Chairman of the House of Assembly Service Commission, was suspended over conduct deemed inconsistent with the standards of his office.

The SSG instructed all affected officials to hand over government properties in their possession. Governor Mutfwang expressed gratitude for their service and wished them success in future endeavors.
