At least three Palestinian women have died and eight others were injured after missile debris struck a beauty salon in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The incident occurred in Beit Awwa, near Hebron, in the southern West Bank. Fragments reportedly hit a metal caravan used as a salon and other nearby locations.

The victims were identified as Mais Ghazi Masalmeh, 17; Sahira Rizq Masalmeh, 50; and Amal Sobhi Abdel Karim Matawa’ Masalmeh, 36. PRCS teams, including five ambulances, rushed to the scene, transporting the deceased and critically injured victims to a local hospital.

Rescue efforts were hindered by iron gates blocking access to the area, which delayed response time and complicated efforts to save the injured.

The incident followed reports that Iran had fired missiles toward Israel, which the Israeli military said it was attempting to intercept.
