Trump Safe as Shots Fired at Washington Correspondents’ Event
U.S. President Donald Trump was safely evacuated after a shooting incident disrupted the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., late Saturday.
According to multiple reports, chaos erupted at the event venue, the Washington Hilton, when a gunman attempted to breach a security checkpoint near the ballroom where top U.S. officials, journalists, and guests had gathered.
