Oborevwori Inaugurates Delta APC Campaign Council Ahead of Elections

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council in Asaba as the party intensifies preparations for upcoming elections.

The council is expected to coordinate campaign activities, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and engage voters across the state.

Speaking during the inauguration, Oborevwori urged members to demonstrate unity, dedication and effective coordination in advancing the party’s programmes and policies.

He also called on party faithful to remain committed to the APC’s ideals and communicate its agenda to the electorate.

Among the party leaders present were former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo, APC National Woman Leader Stella Okotete and Delta State APC Chairman Solomon Aranyeka.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working together to advance the party’s political objectives in Delta State.

The campaign council is expected to commence activities following its inauguration, with a focus on grassroots engagement, mobilisation and coordination across the state.

A minute’s silence was observed during the event in honour of former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, who was reported to have died earlier in the week.
