ZAMBIA WINS THRILLING ENCOUNTER AGAINST SENEGAL IN WAFCON CHAMPIONSHIP
Zambia’s Copper Queens secured a 3-2 victory over Senegal’s Teranga Lionesses in a thrilling match at the West African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Championship in Morocco. The win earned Zambia four points from two games, while Senegal now has three points from the same number of matches.

Senegal drew first blood, but Zambia responded promptly and swiftly, leveling the score just minutes later. The Copper Queens took the lead in the 46th minute with their second goal, and the first half ended 2-1 in favor of Zambia.

In the second half, both teams netted a goal each, with Senegal scoring via a penalty kick. Despite their efforts, Senegal couldn’t catch up, and Zambia emerged victorious with a final score of 3-2.
