Tinubu Felicitates Information Minister Mohammed Idris at 60

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued on Friday, the President described Idris as an accomplished communicator and media professional who has brought credibility and depth to public communication under the current administration.

Tinubu noted that the minister’s track record in the media and public relations industry, particularly as founder and publisher of Blueprint Newspapers, as well as his leadership of a public relations and broadcast outfit, had distinguished him long before his appointment into government.

The President also highlighted Idris’ previous role as General Secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, describing him as a committed partner in national development.

He commended the minister’s efforts in articulating and promoting government policies and programmes, noting his consistency in communicating the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda across the country.

Tinubu further urged Idris to sustain his dedication to service, while wishing him good health and strength in the years ahead.

The President joined family, friends, and associates of the minister in celebrating the milestone birthday.
