Prophet Hungbenu Issues Urgent Security Alert to Tinubu Over Influx of Bus Loads of Youths into Abuja Satellite Towns
Rev Prophet Dr Hungbenu Michael Olusegun, Founder of Celestial Deliverance Church of Christ in Zhidu Village, Abuja, has issued a solemn and urgent national security alert to the Federal Government, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, security agencies, the Christian Association of Nigeria, religious leaders, and all Nigerian citizens. Speaking from his Abuja headquarters, the Prophet raised alarm over a troubling influx of bus loads of northerners, especially youths, into Abuja satellite towns on an almost daily basis.
“I am not a politician. I am a prophet. And I am sounding a spiritual and practical warning. What is happening in the outskirts of our Federal Capital Territory calls for critical action. We are seeing bus after bus—mostly young men—arriving daily into communities like Zhidu, Piwoyi, Lugbe, Gwagwalada, Kuje, and others. This is not a normal migration pattern. Something is wrong,” he declared. Rev Prophet Dr Hungbenu Michael Olusegun emphasized that he is not against any tribe, region, or religion, stating that his concern is purely for national security and the safety of all Nigerians. “This is not about ethnicity. It is about unusual patterns that security agencies must investigate. If these young men are coming for honest work, let them be documented, integrated, and supported. But if there is any hidden agenda—including crime, terrorism, or destabilization—the government must act now before it is too late,” he warned.

He called on the Federal Capital Territory Administration, the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Police Force, and the Military to conduct stop-and-search operations at major entry points into Abuja satellite towns, profile and document all new arrivals in large groups, engage local traditional rulers and community leaders in Zhidu, Piwoyi, and surrounding villages to report suspicious movements, and establish joint security task force patrols in these corridors on a 24-hour basis. “We cannot wait for a tragedy to happen before we act. Abuja is the heart of Nigeria. If the heart is compromised, the whole body suffers,” the Prophet said.
In a frank and fatherly admonition, Rev Prophet Dr Hungbenu Michael Olusegun turned his attention to CAN, calling on the body to rise to its divine mandate. “CAN is meant to be the father of all Christians in this nation. Not a contractor. Not a political lobby. Not a wealth-seeking enterprise. A father,” he said. The Prophet advised CAN leadership to shun the search for wealth, stating that the pulpit is not a marketplace and the altar is not a bank. He urged CAN leaders to stop chasing contracts, government appointments, and personal enrichment, and to return to the divine call of serving the vineyard of Christ with humility, speaking truth to power, defending the persecuted, and feeding the poor. “How can CAN preach morality when its own house is divided by money and ambition? Be an example to the flock. Let integrity be your trademark,” he added.
Rev Prophet Dr Hungbenu Michael Olusegun also issued a strong message to all community leaders across the Federal Capital Territory and its surrounding environment, including traditional rulers, village chiefs, ward heads, youth leaders, landlords’ associations, and market leaders. “You are the eyes and ears of our communities. The government and security agencies cannot be everywhere. But you are there. You see who comes in. You see who leaves. You know when strangers arrive in unusual numbers. You cannot afford to be silent or indifferent,” he declared. He charged community leaders to be vigilant, monitor all new arrivals, establish community intelligence networks, report promptly to security agencies, and refuse bribes or inducements to turn a blind eye. “To every traditional ruler in Abuja – from the Ona of Abaji to the Esu of Bwari, from the Sarki of Gwagwalada to every village head in Piwoyi, Zhidu, Kuje, Kwali, and everywhere in between: wake up. Do not sleep on duty. Do not allow your community to become a hiding place for criminals or worse. You have a responsibility before God and before the people,” he said. He added, “If you see something, say something. And keep saying it until someone acts. A leader who keeps quiet while danger gathers is not a leader – he is an accomplice.”
Offering deep spiritual counsel for the nation, Rev Prophet Dr Hungbenu Michael Olusegun said the battle for Nigeria is not only physical but also spiritual. He advised security agencies not to rely only on their guns but to pray and seek divine wisdom, noting that corruption in the ranks is a spiritual problem before it becomes a physical one. He called on religious leaders of both faiths to stop competing over who is holier and start competing over who serves the people better. He also led the nation in prophetic prayers, declaring, “Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, every plan of the enemy to turn Abuja satellite towns into a den of violence – we scatter it now. Every evil agenda hidden inside those bus loads of youths – we expose it and render it impotent.” He concluded with a unifying appeal: “Nigeria is passing through a delicate season. We do not need more division. We do not need more hate speech. We need vigilance. We need prayer. And we need action.”
