The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, in partnership with the Presidential Media Team, will this weekend commence the South-East edition of the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, a project inspection exercise aimed at showcasing major infrastructure and development projects undertaken by the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Tunde Rahman, the five-day tour will begin in Ebonyi State on June 13 and conclude in Imo State on June 17, 2026.

The exercise will bring together more than 50 editors and journalists from various media organisations across the country, providing them with an opportunity to assess ongoing and completed projects in the South-East geopolitical zone.

States scheduled to be covered during the tour include Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Abia and Imo.

Organisers said the programme is designed to provide firsthand information on the implementation and impact of policies, programmes and infrastructure projects being executed under the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Activities lined up for the tour include inspections of key projects, engagements with stakeholders, media interactions and discussions focused on national development.

According to the organisers, the initiative serves as a platform for promoting factual and evidence-based reporting while strengthening collaboration between government institutions and the media.

The South-East tour follows a similar exercise conducted in the North-West geopolitical zone, where more than 70 editors and government officials inspected several federal projects.

Among the projects visited during the North-West tour were the Kaduna-Kano-Katsina-Maradi railway project, sections of the Sokoto-Badagry Highway in Kebbi State, the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Highway, the Kaduna Western Bypass, irrigation projects in Jigawa State, and ecological intervention projects in the Wujuwuju-Jakara area of Kano State.
