Governor Oborevwori Celebrates Victor Ochei’s Milestones at 57
Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has extended warm birthday wishes to Victor Ochei, President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, as he celebrates his 57th birthday today, February 25.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Ochei as a distinguished leader, successful businessman, and committed philanthropist whose contributions have left a lasting mark on Delta State.
Oborevwori highlighted Ochei’s tenure as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, noting his commitment to democratic principles, community empowerment, and sustainable development.
The governor also recognized Ochei’s work at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), where he served as Executive Director, Cabotage Services, bringing experience and reforms that strengthened Nigeria’s maritime sector.
Currently leading the Nigeria Tennis Federation, Ochei continues to shape the nation’s tennis scene, using his leadership to boost the sport’s visibility and growth.
Oborevwori described him as a trusted figure in Delta politics, whose counsel and support remain valuable to the state’s progress. He prayed for Ochei’s continued good health, wisdom, and opportunities to serve, adding that his achievements continue to inspire a new generation of leaders.
