NUJ and SWAN Chieftain Odion Musa Shines at Nigerian Athletics Masters Championship
Liberty TV sports presenter Comrade Odion Musa delivered a stunning performance at the Nigerian Athletics Masters Championship in Abuja, winning one Gold and one Bronze medal.
The former Edo State athlete claimed Gold in the 110 meters Hurdles M35 event, defeating competitors from the Nigeria Army, Navy, Air Force, Immigration, media houses, and other organisations.

He also helped his team secure a Bronze medal in the 4 × 100m Relay Final, showcasing his all-round athletic ability.
“Competing against such strong field from the military and civilian bodies and coming out with a Gold and Bronze is a proud moment for me,” Musa said.
Beyond track events, Musa is the Captain of the NUJ football team, a table tennis player, and an active member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
He is also Vice-Chairman of the Sports Integrity Foundation, advocating strongly for integrity in sports.

The maiden championship featured former Nigerian champions like Mike Monye, international athletes from Poland, and other established stars.
