FROM 2 GOALS DOWN TO 3-2 WINNING BY THE SUPER FALCONS AND LESSONS FOR A BELEAGUERED NATION
This moment should be viewed as a paradigm shift that was defiant, bold and brave. They demonstrated that teamwork, leadership is the difference between wild flowers growing the way they like and untamed flowers growing as bush.

The Super Falcons winning will encourage the young generation to develop attitudes that are sensitive and not anti social. It is no longer about religion but about mindset attitude and behaviours towards achieving the aspirations of our country.
The conversation from their winning delve into hope, dreams and vulnerabilities, the team showed the new way of seeing a Nigeria that is fully committed, unique and opened up the heart and mind of the young generation.

The scene was reflective, gracious and greatly powerful while the broader implications of this feat are hard to ignore because it transcended initial defeat and transformed into enduring courage and sagacity.
It showed that merit is matured into and not by legislation. The winning showed that merit is essential so is diversity and the cost of leaving women out is too high: economically, socially and morally. The list of the Super Falcons was dynamic and diverse with pomp and purpose and not just names but narratives. It clearly showed that nations can be strong individually but that does not indicate national strength.

You can be brilliant but not intimidating, it is all a balancing process. It was a bold statement from the Super Falcons, we see them and we need to celebrate ourselves because the impact was not only loud but steady, consistent and deeply national. It further reinforced the fact that gender equality should no longer be a dream deferred in many sectors.
The super Falcons victory showed that Nigerians are not waiting for permission anymore, they are already doing the work. The winners are building, healing, innovating and empowering. Why no country have a perfect system of government, the winning of the Supper Falcons showed that the nation must constantly construct a system that propel her citizens to a more perfect country towards better citizens and forge the greatest amount of good for the majority of Nigerians.

The super Falcons is a reminder that countries develop on the premise of hardwork and reward. The team chose to be exceptional and they came with victory. This is mission X in a country of more than 200 million people that are not known to dominate any aspects of society speaks to collective responsibility and commitment to posterity more than it does anything else.
The message from the team is that we are the smartest people on earth and they made it loudest. They have momentarily change the global perception that we are the receiving end for wrong perceptions for crimes that other nationals make big ends from.
Finally, the women’s winning clearly shows that getting our arts together includes tackling more seriously the domestic challenges; slow growth, creeping insecurity holding the nation down. Size without strength will not suffice. Kudos to the Super Falcons
