Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, and former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have arrived at the residence of the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Henry Seriake Dickson, for a high-level political meeting.

The development is seen as part of ongoing consultations ahead of a possible political realignment.

Sources indicate that the two politicians are currently engaged in a closed-door meeting with Dickson, fuelling speculation over their next political move.

The meeting comes just hours after Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, citing legal concerns and internal crises within the party.

Although details of the discussions remain undisclosed, the convergence of the key opposition figures is widely interpreted as a strategic move that could reshape the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
