PSG to Fly Hundreds of Employees to Budapest for European Final
French giants; Paris Saint-Germain have once again moved to reward their employees by offering free travel and match tickets to staff members for the upcoming UEFA Champions League final in Budapest.
According to reports from multiple European media outlets, the club will cover transportation and accommodation expenses for hundreds of workers, allowing them to support the team live at the final. The initiative is part of PSG’s broader effort to strengthen unity within the club and recognize the contributions of staff behind the scenes.
The move mirrors a similar gesture made last season when approximately 500 club employees were taken to the Champions League final in Munich under an all-expenses-paid arrangement funded by the club. Staff members were also reportedly included in the players’ collective bonus pool following the team’s European campaign.
Club officials believe the initiative reflects PSG’s desire to create a family atmosphere around the squad as they chase European glory. Employees from different departments, including administration, logistics, media, hospitality and stadium operations, are expected to benefit from the package.
The decision has drawn praise from football fans online, with many describing it as a rare example of a top European club recognizing the importance of non-playing staff in the team’s success.
PSG have invested heavily in recent years in their bid to dominate European football, and the club’s leadership appears keen to maintain strong morale across all levels of the organization ahead of one of the biggest matches in club football.
