Toluwanisings: Family, Friends Set for Night of Tributes in Ibadan
Family members, friends, colleagues and Christian faithful are set to gather in Ibadan, Oyo State, for a night of tributes in honour of late gospel singer Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.
The event is scheduled for October 27 at 3 p.m. at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, to celebrate the life and ministry of the gospel artiste.
The programme will feature tributes, reflections, cherished memories and thanksgiving to God for the late singer’s life and contributions to gospel music and Christian ministry.
The invitation, published on the singer’s Instagram account and obtained on Wednesday, described Toluwanisings as a beloved brother, friend and gospel minister whose life and ministry touched many people.
“With heavy hearts, yet in gratitude to God for a life that touched many, we invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings,” the organisers said.
They added that the gathering would provide an opportunity for loved ones and admirers to reflect on his impact and celebrate the legacy he left behind.
“Though we mourn his departure, we hold firmly to the hope we have in Christ Jesus. His earthly journey may have ended, but the impact of his life and ministry will continue to speak,” the invitation stated.
The organisers called on family members, friends, colleagues and members of the Christian community to attend the event and unite in honouring the late minister.
They also expressed gratitude to God for his life, noting that despite the grief surrounding his death, his music, ministry and the memories he created would continue to inspire others.
Well-wishers interested in supporting the programme were advised to contact the organisers through direct messages.
The Night of Tributes is expected to bring together members of the gospel music community and others whose lives were touched by Toluwanisings to celebrate his contributions and pay their final respects.
The announcement concluded with prayers for God’s blessings and comfort upon all those mourning his passing.
