APC Extends Sale, Submission of Nomination Forms for 2027 General Elections

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved an extension of the timelines for the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as well as the submission of completed forms, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The decision was taken at a meeting held on Thursday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, announced that the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026, while submission of completed forms and accompanying documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

He explained that the adjustment was necessitated by the public holiday observed nationwide on Friday, as well as the high level of interest from aspirants seeking to participate in the electoral process.

Previously, the party had fixed the sale of forms from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026, with submission earlier scheduled to close on Monday, May 4, 2026.

The extension, according to the party, is aimed at ensuring broader participation and providing adequate time for aspirants to complete their documentation processes ahead of the 2027 elections.
