President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for Kaduna State, where the President is expected to flag off the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign ahead of the 2027 general election.

The President’s departure on Saturday is the beginning of his campaign activities as the ruling party prepares to mobilise support for his re-election bid.

Tinubu had, during the launch of the APC Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa last week, announced that he would limit his campaign visits to 12 states out of the 36 states of the federation, alongside the Federal Capital Territory.

The Kaduna rally is expected to bring together APC leaders, party supporters and other stakeholders as the party begins its activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
