Arsenal have qualified for the UEFA Champions League final after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Atlético Madrid in the semi-final second leg, sealing a 2–1 aggregate win.

The decisive moment came just before halftime at the Emirates Stadium, when Bukayo Saka tapped in from close range following a rebound, giving the hosts the lead on the night and ultimately sending them through.

The result follows a tightly contested first leg in Madrid, which ended 1–1 after both sides converted penalties in a match marked by VAR controversy and missed chances.

Despite late pressure from Atlético, Arsenal held firm defensively, with disciplined performances at the back and key saves ensuring the Spanish side could not find an equaliser.

The victory sends Arsenal into their first Champions League final since 2006, where they will face either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest.

For Atlético Madrid, the defeat confirms their elimination at the semi-final stage, ending their European campaign despite a strong and competitive showing across both legs.
