Former England football captain David Beckham and his wife, fashion designer and former Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham, have officially joined the billionaire ranks, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.

The couple’s combined fortune is now estimated at £1.2 billion, making Beckham the United Kingdom’s first billionaire sportsman.

The annual ranking of the UK’s 350 richest individuals and families also saw Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher make their debut on the list, with the Oasis brothers reportedly worth a combined £375 million.

Topping the 2026 rich list for the fifth consecutive year are businessmen Sanjay Hinduja and Dheeraj Hinduja, whose family fortune is estimated at £38 billion through the Hinduja Group’s interests in oil, banking, transport and other sectors.

Other names in the top 10 include billionaire industrialist Sir Leonard Blavatnik, petrochemicals magnate Idan Ofer, and Ineos founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The Sunday Times said the UK now has 157 billionaires, a decline of 20 compared to four years ago.

Meanwhile, King Charles III saw his estimated wealth rise by £40 million to £680 million, pushing him above former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty, whose combined fortune stands at £563 million.

Among this year’s biggest financial declines was inventor Sir James Dyson, whose wealth reportedly dropped by £8.8 billion to £12 billion, partly linked to reduced revenues and the impact of US tariffs introduced by Donald Trump.

New entrants to the list also include Emily Eavis and her family, owners of the Glastonbury Festival, with an estimated fortune of £400 million.
