U.S. President Donald Trump has been described as being in “excellent health” following a recent medical evaluation, even as doctors acknowledged visible leg swelling and minor bruising on his hand.

The update was released by his medical team after public attention was drawn to recent images showing swelling around the lower legs and discoloration on one hand. According to the physician’s statement, the findings are not considered unusual for someone of the president’s age and overall condition.

The attending doctor reportedly stated that comprehensive checks were carried out, including cardiovascular and circulatory assessments, and that no serious underlying condition was detected. The report emphasized that the president remains fully fit to carry out his official duties.

Medical officials further explained that leg swelling can occur due to a range of benign causes, including prolonged standing, travel, or minor circulatory issues, while hand bruising is consistent with mild soft tissue irritation or frequent handshaking.

Images of the president’s swollen leg and bruised hand circulated widely on social media, prompting speculation about his health. However, White House officials have pushed back against such concerns, insisting that routine medical transparency should not be misinterpreted as evidence of illness.

The president’s health has remained a recurring subject of public and political discussion, particularly given the demands of his office and ongoing national and international engagements.

Officials confirmed that there will be no changes to the president’s public schedule, and he is expected to continue with planned meetings, briefings, and travel commitments.

The White House has also indicated that additional health updates will be provided in line with standard presidential medical disclosure practices.
