2027: Gov. Kefas Appoints Emmanuel Bello as Campaign Spokesman

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has appointed veteran journalist and media strategist Emmanuel Bello as the spokesman for his 2027 governorship campaign.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation, Danladi Baido.

Bello, who currently serves as Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communications to Governor Kefas, brings decades of experience in journalism, public communication and government media management to the role.

Before his latest appointment, Bello served as Commissioner for Information under two different administrations in Taraba State, where he played key roles in shaping government communication and public engagement.

He began his journalism career as a reporter with Daily Trust before working with Leadership Newspapers and THISDAY. He also served as a staff member of ARISE News prior to joining the Kefas administration.

The campaign organisation said Bello’s appointment is part of preparations for the 2027 governorship election, where Governor Kefas is expected to seek another term in office.
