Arsenal’s long-awaited Premier League triumph turned into a sea of red and white on Sunday as tens of thousands of supporters flooded the streets of North London for a massive open-top bus victory parade.

The celebrations marked the club’s first English league title in 22 years, with fans lining key routes around Islington, Holloway Road, and the Emirates Stadium area to catch a glimpse of Mikel Arteta’s champions holding the trophy aloft.

The parade featured multiple open-top buses carrying the men’s squad, coaching staff, and Arsenal Women’s team, who also enjoyed success this season. Music, chants, flares, and nonstop cheering turned the city into a moving celebration as supporters celebrated a season many had waited decades for.

Estimates suggest hundreds of thousands of fans gathered along the route, with some reports placing attendance between 500,000 and 800,000 people. Streets were heavily restricted as authorities managed the large turnout, while fans climbed barriers, traffic lights, and trees just to see the champions pass by.

The celebration came less than 24 hours after Arsenal’s painful Champions League final defeat on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain, but that disappointment was largely pushed aside as domestic success took centre stage.

Players including Martin Ødegaard, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz were seen dancing, chanting with fans, and lifting the trophy repeatedly as the parade moved through the capital. Manager Mikel Arteta praised supporters for their unwavering backing throughout a demanding season that included more than 60 matches across all competitions.

The victory parade signals a new era for Arsenal, who finally ended years of near-misses and runner-up finishes to reclaim their place at the top of English football.
