The unrest erupted shortly after the Knicks secured a historic NBA Finals triumph, prompting thousands of fans to pour into the streets of Manhattan to celebrate the franchise’s first championship in decades. While most supporters marked the occasion peacefully, several incidents of vandalism and disorder were reported as crowds swelled across the city.

According to local media reports, a FIFA World Cup promotional bus parked in Manhattan was engulfed in flames after unidentified individuals climbed onto the vehicle and ignited a fire.
