The Ajisope Development Initiative has formally declared its full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027, with its founder describing the Tinubu project as paramount above all other political considerations.

The declaration was made during a large gathering of members and supporters at the group’s secretariat in Oroki Estate, Osogbo, Osun State, on Thursday.

Alhaji Abdul Kabiru Okikiola Adeoye Ajisope, the founder of the initiative and Aare Musulumi of Oba land, told the gathering that the group’s sole political focus at present is ensuring Tinubu returns for a second term as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

He charged supporters across Osun State, particularly in the Osogbo, Olorunda and Orolu Federal Constituency, to remain resolute and committed to the cause.

“Our focus now is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Tinubu 2027 reelection project is paramount to me than any other election. I want all our members to be resolute and committed to this cause,” Ajisope declared.

The founder also issued a stern warning to those he described as doubting Thomases and individuals exhibiting double standards within the political space.

He advised such persons to steer clear of the development initiative if they were not prepared to demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the Tinubu reelection agenda.

Ajisope recalled his bitter experience during the last governorship election in Osun State, expressing displeasure over how he and his group were treated despite their massive contributions and sacrifices.

He lamented that the initiative was not recognised or appreciated for its efforts, but said the experience had taught the group a valuable lesson that would guide its future political engagements.

Leaders of the initiative from the three local government areas making up the Osogbo/Olorunda/Orolu Federal Constituency appealed to members to put the past behind them and embrace the new political direction with renewed vigour.

They urged members to remain united, shun divisive tendencies and work assiduously for Tinubu’s victory in 2027, expressing confidence that the initiative has the capacity to deliver massive votes for the President.

The meeting was attended by coordinators, women leaders, youth leaders and supporters from across the federal constituency.

It ended with a renewed commitment to embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation for the Tinubu 2027 project.
