The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections, making adjustments to key internal processes including screening, appeals, primaries, and the sale of nomination forms.

In a press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the party said the updated schedule reflects changes designed to streamline preparations ahead of the next general elections.

The revision, contained in a schedule of activities approved by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, also outlines directives on designated bank accounts for payments relating to the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

According to the party, the adjustments affect timelines for screening of aspirants, handling of appeals, and the conduct of primary elections across various levels.

The APC further directed that all payments for forms must be made only into officially approved party accounts, reinforcing internal financial controls as it prepares for the 2027 election cycle.

Party officials say the revised timetable is aimed at ensuring smoother coordination of internal processes and reducing disputes typically associated with primaries and delegate selection.

The announcement comes as political parties across the country begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
