A reform must be capable of embarking on a journey forward and backward simultaneously because it brings so many things together. That is why it cant be built on propaganda and sloganeering alone but on the case that it will yield the desired outcome.

A reform must resolve three dimensions of the past as an experience reality, a compelling present reality and must envisage a future to which the past and present are hazy pointers. That is why a reform should be a journey through these three dimensions, full of milestones and signposts that make us who we are.

A reform must first be significant to the citizens in order for its reminiscences to be worth public understanding. A reform must have touched multiples of lives in one way or the other or become increasingly inadequate and will be read as a limitation.

Globally, reforms come roaring at the citizens with a rampaging urgency and untidy vengeance because the birth economic conditions that convert the poor and hungry to more existential problems. Most times it is hurtful without a finality.

The current energy crisis #1500/ltr has once again jolted Nigerians into the darkest days with the hope that we dont have to witness more economic crisis.

The omens remain frightening with decades of economic bad manners in Nigeria.
