Several people have been injured after a Boeing 787 Dreamliner experienced a nose-gear collapse upon landing at Frankfurt Airport, according to preliminary reports from aviation sources.

The incident reportedly occurred as the aircraft was taxiing or completing its landing sequence, when the front landing gear gave way, causing the plane to tilt forward abruptly. Emergency response teams were quickly deployed to the scene, evacuating passengers and securing the aircraft.

Authorities say the number of injured passengers is still being assessed, though early indications suggest the injuries are mostly minor. No fatalities have been confirmed at this stage.

The aircraft, manufactured by Boeing, is one of the widely used long-haul models in global aviation. Investigators are expected to focus on possible landing stress factors, mechanical failure, and maintenance history as part of the ongoing probe.

Aviation safety officials and airport authorities in Frankfurt have launched a formal investigation to determine the cause of the nose-gear failure and assess whether there were any prior warning signs.

Passengers from the affected flight have been relocated, while the damaged aircraft remains grounded for inspection.

Further updates are expected as authorities release verified details.
