PNGI Leaders Pay Courtesy Visit to FCC Boss, Declare APC’s Osun Guber Election ‘Already Won’

The Progressive Next Generation Initiative (PNGI) has paid a high-level courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran, in a move aimed at strengthening political collaborations and advancing the policy agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

The delegation was led by Hon. Olamide Fagbuji, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Climate Technology and Operations, who also serves as a senior stakeholder and convener of the PNGI under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The meeting, which took place at the FCC headquarters, served as a platform to discuss governance, youth inclusion, and the upcoming electoral contest in Osun State.

Hon. Omidiran, a two-term former legislator, a FIFA pioneer, and a renowned advocate for gender equality and good governance, warmly received the team. In her address, she expressed unwavering confidence in the APC’s chances in the forthcoming Osun State gubernatorial election, scheduled for August 15, 2026.

“The Osun election is already won by our gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji,” Hon. Omidiran declared.

She criticized the current state leadership, noting that while the incumbent governor is preoccupied with social media trends, the APC has remained committed to grassroots mobilization.

“Our job has been grassroots mobilisation. I urge the people of Osun to be steadfast and get ready for a change of leadership into the Government House, Bola Ige, in Abere, Osogbo,” she added.

The Executive Chairman also commended the PNGI leadership for its proactive efforts in promoting the President’s policies through robust data-driven advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

She praised the initiative for its role in bridging the gap between government agencies and the youth populace.

In his remarks, Hon. Olamide Fagbuji emphasized the need for deeper government partnerships, stressing the importance of collaborating with political groups and government agencies to ensure the successful implementation of federal policies.

He reiterated PNGI’s commitment to supporting the administration’s climate technology operations and fostering progressive governance across the country.

The visit underscores the growing synergy between political advocacy groups and government institutions as the APC intensifies its preparations for the Osun State polls and continues to push for national development initiatives.
