Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has inaugurated the national headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja as the group intensifies grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The inauguration, held on Friday, October 23, 2026, attracted prominent political figures, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, and Governors Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State.

Speaking at the event, the First Lady urged members of the movement to strengthen engagement with Nigerians at the grassroots, communicate the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration, and promote peace, unity, development and shared prosperity.

She emphasised the importance of peaceful mobilisation and direct engagement with citizens as the country approaches the 2027 presidential election.

The movement’s Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the organisation’s reach nationwide.

Tompolo, who was represented by Chief Kestin Pondi, disclosed that the movement had established a presence in 14 states as part of its efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures.

He expressed confidence in the movement’s capacity to extend its mobilisation campaign to more communities across the country.

With the inauguration of its national headquarters, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement plans to intensify its outreach to households, markets and communities, taking the Renewed Hope message of the Tinubu administration directly to Nigerians.

The development comes as political groups and support organisations begin positioning themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.
