Governor Sule Commissions New Energy Plant in China, Seeks Deeper Industrial Partnerships
Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, on Tuesday commissioned the Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy Plant in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to attracting strategic investments that will drive industrialisation and sustainable economic growth in the state.

Governor Sule, who attended the event as Special Guest of Honour, said his administration remains focused on creating an enabling environment for credible investors through transparent policies, infrastructure development and responsible mining practices.
The event was also attended by the Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, who described the inauguration of the ultra-modern facility as another milestone in the growing partnership between Chinese investors and Nigerian states endowed with solid mineral resources.
Addressing guests at the ceremony, Governor Sule commended the management of Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy for its confidence in Nigeria and its commitment to advancing the global clean energy value chain.
He said Nasarawa State would continue to encourage investments that promote value addition to its abundant mineral resources, create employment opportunities, facilitate technology transfer and support inclusive economic development.
The governor also expressed optimism about expanding collaboration with Chinese companies, saying he looks forward to signing additional Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to deepen existing partnerships and attract more investments into the state’s mining and industrial sectors.
As part of the visit, Governor Sule and members of his delegation toured the company’s state-of-the-art production facility, where they observed advanced manufacturing processes, modern production technologies and quality control systems.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of innovation at the plant and stressed the need to replicate similar value-addition initiatives in Nasarawa State to maximise the economic potential of its mineral resources.
The management of Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy presented Governor Sule with a special plaque of honour in recognition of his visit.
The visit forms part of the governor’s ongoing investment drive aimed at strengthening international partnerships and positioning Nasarawa State as a leading destination for responsible mining, mineral beneficiation and industrial development in Nigeria.
