PRESIDENT TINUBU HOLDS AUDIENCE WITH CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF ABUJA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with the Catholic Archbishop of the Diocese of Abuja, Most Reverend Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The audience, which took place at 17:39, was documented by the State House photography team.

During the meeting, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and religious institutions in fostering national development. “I deeply appreciate Your Grace’s visit and your steadfast commitment to the moral and spiritual well-being of our nation. Your counsel is invaluable as we work towards a united and prosperous Nigeria,” the President stated.

Archbishop Kaigama expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the President on critical issues affecting the country. “I am honored to meet with His Excellency to discuss matters of peace, justice, and the common good. The Catholic Church remains dedicated to supporting efforts that promote harmony and the dignity of every citizen,” the Archbishop said.

The discussion centered on themes of national unity, social justice, and the role of faith-based organizations in societal advancement. Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to upholding the values of integrity and service for the benefit of all Nigerians.
