BOMB EXPLOSION KILLS SEVERAL TRAVELLERS IN ZAMFARA

A bomb explosion has resulted in multiple casualties along the Yar’Tasha–Dansadau road in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Yazid Abubakar, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview but noted that details were still emerging. “I can confirm that there was a blast in that area, but I can’t provide specifics yet.
