GARLYN FOUNDATION HOSTS INAUGURAL HEIPANG CHILDREN’S DAY 2025 FUNFAIR IN PLATEAU STATE

The Garlyn Foundation, led by Founder Judith Yop Pam-Tok, has made a significant impact in the rural village of Heipang in Plateau State by hosting the inaugural Heipang Children’s Day 2025 Funfair. The event brought together children from Heipang, Kassa, and Barakin Ladi for a day filled with games, music, dance, face painting, snacks, laughter, and unforgettable memories. The funfair was a transformative experience for the village, marking a bold declaration that children in rural areas matter just as much as those in urban areas. Judith Yop Pam-Tok, Founder of the Garlyn Foundation, emphasized that every child deserves access to the same experiences, opportunities, and dreams, regardless of their background or geography. “This is only the beginning,” Judith said, highlighting her organization’s mission to bridge the opportunity gap between rural and urban children. The Garlyn Foundation Leadership Academy team worked tirelessly to make the event a success, providing a city-style children’s day celebration that was new to the village. The joy and excitement of the children were palpable, with many experiencing a funfair for the first time. The event sent a powerful message that rural children deserve to laugh, play, and imagine big futures, just like their urban counterparts. The Garlyn Foundation’s efforts are changing lives and inspiring hope in the community.
