FIRST LADY TINUBU PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO FORMER FIRST LADY AISHA BUHARI

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has paid a condolence visit to the Kaduna residence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, where she was warmly received by the Former First Lady, Dr. Aisha Buhari. The visit, which took place on Friday, August 8, 2025, was marked by moments of comfort and solidarity as the delegation expressed their sympathy to Dr. Buhari and her family.

SSA Media to the First Lady, Busola Kukoyi said in a statement that the visit reflected the deep mutual respect and friendship between Senator Tinubu and Dr. Buhari. Busola Kukoyi noted that the First Lady was accompanied by a delegation of wives of National Assembly members and some wives of State Governors, including the Wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the Wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hajia Fatima Tajudeen Abass.

The delegation expressed their condolences to Dr. Buhari and her family, with Busola Kukoyi adding that the visit served as a testament to the unity and shared compassion among Nigeria’s leaders and their spouses at all times. The First Lady had earlier paid a similar visit to the Daura home of the Late National Leader on July 19, leading a delegation made up of Governors and Ministers’ wives, as well as spouses of Service Chiefs.

Busola Kukoyi further stated that the visit was a demonstration of the strong bonds between Nigeria’s leaders and their commitment to supporting one another in times of need.
