NAWOJ EXTENDS EID-EL-KABIR GREETINGS TO MUSLIM FAITHFUL WORLDWIDE

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has extended heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim faithful worldwide on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. In a statement, NAWOJ National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim, extended warmest Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims, wishing them joy, peace, and prosperity.

Ibrahim reflected on the values of faith, sacrifice, and compassion that this Eid embodies, urging Muslims to cultivate empathy, kindness, and generosity towards others. “May the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir inspire us to cultivate empathy, kindness, and generosity towards others, and may our acts of worship and charity bring us closer to Allah,” Ibrahim said.
The NAWOJ chairperson encouraged Muslims to reflect on the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) in obedience to Allah’s command. “As we commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) in obedience to Allah’s command, let us reflect on the values of faith, sacrifice, and compassion that this Eid embodies,” Ibrahim added.
In her message, NAWOJ National Secretary, Wasilah Ladan, wished Muslims a blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration. “Eid Mubarak!” Ladan exclaimed. Ibrahim’s message concluded with a similar sentiment, as she wished Muslims “Eid Mubarak!” and expressed her hope that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir would inspire kindness and generosity towards others. Ibrahim reiterated the importance of empathy and charity during this blessed occasion.
