NDRC ALLEGES PDP PLOT TO SABOTAGE PRESIDENT TINUBU THROUGH OTUARO’S PERSECUTION

The Niger Delta Revolutionary Crusaders (NDRC) has raised alarm over a supposed plot by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to undermine President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid through the persecution of Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Administrator, Dennis Otuaro.

In a statement, W.O.1 Izon-Ebi, High Command of the NDRC, accused PDP elements of orchestrating a campaign of calumny against Otuaro, describing it as a desperate attempt to destabilize the region and sabotage Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. “These relentless attacks are not mere coincidences but a well-orchestrated scheme by desperate PDP elements to destabilize the region, sabotage President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and cripple the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s foothold in the South-South ahead of the 2027 elections,” the statement read.

The NDRC expressed support for Otuaro, citing his transformative leadership and commitment to the Niger Delta region. The group demanded that the Presidency publicly reaffirm support for Otuaro and investigate the alleged plot. “We demand that the Presidency: Publicly reaffirm support for Dr. Otuaro and shield his administration from these malicious attacks,” the statement added. W.O.1 Izon-Ebi urged the National Security Adviser to investigate and neutralize the alleged destabilizing agents.
