Today, we honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of women globally, recognizing their tireless efforts, unwavering support, and transformative leadership in driving growth and development in our constituency, nation, and worldwide. “As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality, particularly through the Renew Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” Faleke stated. This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action” for gender equality, emphasizes the need for swift and decisive steps to achieve equal rights and opportunities for all. Faleke emphasized the importance of addressing persistent challenges women face, including gender-based violence, unequal access to education and healthcare, and limited economic opportunities. “By supporting women’s empowerment and promoting gender equality, we can create a more just and equitable society for all,” he added. PRESIDENT TINUBU CELEBRATES NIGERIAN WOMEN ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated Nigerian women on International Women’s Day, acknowledging their resilience, brilliance, and indispensable contributions to the nation. In a statement, the President described women as the bedrock of the nation, driving progress in various sectors, including homes, farms, boardrooms, and communities. “Yet, 30 years after the Beijing Declaration, too many still face barriers that limit their potential,” President Tinubu noted. He reassured that his administration is committed to dismantling obstacles, expanding access to finance, and ensuring equitable opportunities in governance, agriculture, and every sector. The President’s message emphasized the importance of women’s strength in fueling Nigeria’s future. “To our mothers, daughters, sisters—your strength fuels Nigeria’s future.
