FALEKE CELEBRATES WOMEN’S RESILIENCE AND STRENGTH ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, the distinguished lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, has extended warmest congratulations to women in Ikeja Federal Constituency on International Women’s Day. Today, we honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of women globally, recognizing their tireless efforts, unwavering support, and transformative leadership in driving growth and development in our constituency, nation, and worldwide. “As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality, particularly through the Renew Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” Faleke stated. This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action” for gender equality, emphasizes the need for swift and decisive steps to achieve equal rights and opportunities for all. Faleke emphasized the importance of addressing persistent challenges women face, including gender-based violence, unequal access to education and healthcare, and limited economic opportunities. “By supporting women’s empowerment and promoting gender equality, we can create a more just and equitable society for all,” he added.
