GOV OKPEBHOLO CONDOLES KOGI GOV, APC CHAIRMAN OVER PARENTS’ DEATH

The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo of Kogi State and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on the passing of their parents. In a statement, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Monday Okpebholo, Fred Itua, said the Governor noted that losing a parent represents one of life’s deepest sorrows. Fred Itua said Governor Okpebholo prayed that both leaders find solace in the noble legacies their parents have left behind, lives defined by faith, service, discipline, and enduring devotion to family and community. Fred Itua further stated that Governor Okpebholo prayed that Almighty Allah grants Late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo Al-Jannah Firdaus, while also committing the soul of Mama Lydia Yilwatda to God’s eternal rest. The Governor also prayed for divine comfort, strength, and fortitude for the Ododo and Yilwatda families to bear these irreparable losses. “May their memories remain a blessing, and their legacies continue to inspire generations to come,” Fred Itua quoted Governor Okpebholo as saying. Governor Okpebholo’s condolence message highlights the significance of family and the impact of parental figures on individuals and society. Fred Itua reiterated the Governor’s commitment to the well-being of the people of Edo State and beyond.
